Whether you’re preparing for an audition or already working on a role, I can help you to find a more authentic sound. My background as an actor means I under-stand the need for the accent to feel natural and organic.
We can approach an accent from many different directions. For some, a rigorous, phonetic, analytical approach will work. Others prefer something more physical and creative. An hour spent taking your accent for a walk in the woods can be just as effective as an hour spent studying an accent breakdown and hammering out prac-tice sentences. Learning to speak with a new accent or dialect requires many dif-ferent parts of the brain and the more parts you engage, the more rounded your ac-cent will be!
